Jantapa is a Partner in the General Corporate Commercial Practice of R&T Asia (Thailand) Limited. A licensed Thai lawyer, Jantapa graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Thammasat University in 2007 and a Master of Laws from University of Southern California in 2009.

Prior to joining the firm, Jantapa was a legal counsel (AVP) at a leading Thai commercial bank and in private practice at a reputable international law firm in Thailand. She has amassed years of experience advising and representing domestic and international companies in matters relating to foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and licensing, personal data protection, banking and finance, and general commercial matters (with particular focus in the areas of employment, intellectual property, information technology and communications, anti-bribery / corruption, anti-competition).

• Advising a multinational airline on assignment of rights over personal data of their customers as security in favour of lenders.
• Assisting an e-payment service provider in preparation and localisation of all policies, terms and conditions, and other documents in relation to personal data, including implementation thereof, to satisfy audit requirements of the Bank of Thailand.
• Representing several foreign banks in the financing transactions with Thai borrowers, and the acquisition and/or registration of corporate guarantee, mortgage, pledge, business security, and assignment of receivable, granted by Thai persons or entities to guarantee debt obligations.
• Advising a multinational overseas investment company on the acquisition and lease of an aircraft, and relevant government licence, permit, and registration.
• Assisting multinational companies in conducting investigation of internal fraud and bribery incident by employees.
• Assisting a leading global positioning technology company in reviewing a government procurement contract with the Marine Department and the Ministry of Transport, and advising on government procurement process and documentation.
• Representing a leading Thai television station in the cross-border copyright infringement cases against the Thai individuals and companies located in other country.
• Advising a leading Thai cable and satellite television operator on the public performance rights of music composers / lyricists and publishers under Thai and US laws.
• Assisting a newly established records company in preparing template agreements used in the business (in Thai and English) and advising on all its relevant transactions in the music industry.
