Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP’s banking and finance team is led by Surasak Vajasit, who has demonstrable experience advising on corporate and financing transactions, including privatisations, securities transactions, loan facilities, project finance and bankruptcy-related work. The practice, which is noted for it capability in handling cross-border mandates, relies on the expertise of Piroon Saengpakdee, who focuses on project development and finance issues. Customs and International Trade
R & T Asia (Thailand) Limited advises on a broad range of customs and trade matters in Thailand, from directly liaising with government departments, such as the Royal Thai Customs, to representing clients in proceedings before the Criminal Court. The team also advises on all relevant licensing and regulatory matters relating to the importation and exportation of goods. Melisa Uremovic leads the practice group and has demonstrable experience in anti-dumping, safeguarding and complex customs proceedings, while Supawat Srirungruang acts for clients across the tobacco, alcohol and telecoms sectors. Surasak Vajasit, who assists multinational entities in customs-related disputes, is another key member of the team.
R & T Asia (Thailand) Limited’s dispute resolution team is led by Surasak Vajasit, who works across the public and private sectors, with experience in handling regulatory matters involving customs and anti-corruption proceedings. Labour and Employment
Fielding ‘a solid team’, R & T Asia (Thailand) Limited acts for multinational companies and Thai conglomerates on a range of contentious and non-contentious mandates, from reviewing HR policies and employment contracts to matters concerning retrenchment of executives, disciplinary proceedings and termination for misconduct, in addition to employment litigation. Saroj Jongsaritwang and Piroon Saengpakdee jointly lead the team, while Ittichai Prasongprasit has experience in disputes involving labour unions, as well as matters concerning the revocation of orders of the Ministry of Labour, Labour Protection Officer and Labour Relations Committee.
