PDPA Update: How to Notify Data Breach Incidents

On 15 December 2022, new provisions were issued to clarify how data breach incidents should be notified, with such requirements taking immediate effect. The clarification was provided by Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee when it issued the Notification of the Personal Data Protection Committee re: Rules and Methods for the Notification of Personal Data Breach Incident, B.E. 2565 (2022) (“Notification“). This Update highlights the key details of the Notification.
